Dwight7mm 08 and TSX formulas
It took a while to find the right combination in my Rem 700 but I finally got it.
I finally worked up two very accurate loads with Varget and H4350EXT.
Rem Brass, CCI BR2, Barnes 140TSX, 44.5 gr Varget prints half inch groups at 100yds.
48.5 gr of H4350EXT does the same.
There is a slight speed advantage with the Varget since it shoots 5/8 higher at 100yds and no sign of pressure problems. I don't have a chrony so I can't give you exact velocities.

Assuming that the load that impacts higher at 100 yards is producing more velocity is not a logical assumption.

DwightI logically assumed it but give me what you think caused the varget load to shoot higher then I may guess different next time. I am sure there is plenty more to learn. A chrony is on my list but not high enough at the moment.
Thanks
