Don't they tell you what it is if it's a premium? Probably a Speer.

My bad Frowner it is Power-Shok which I beleive is their standard ammo.

There is no indication on the box of what projectile it is.

If it's a premium it could be almost anything except a Hornady....I don't think they have used a Hornady bullet in any of the premiums....Sierra, Speer, & Nosler are all used.

Power shock is their own standard cup and core bullet.

Today the most used bullet is Speer's TBBC and Nosler's partition!...I don't think they're using Sierra anymore! clap

Maybe not-- but there were some 'premium sierra boat tails' on the shelf in several calibers in bass pro this evening. Confused

Thanks Ol' Joe.....

I once made a perfect shot on a pronghorn with one of those......277 diameter hole in and a .277 diameter hole out.....no expansion at all and at about 100 yards max.... The goat ran off another 100 yards and stood there looking at me.....I thought I missed totally.....and then it leaped straight up and came down dead.

Worst bullet performance I ever had!

from the nose and cantalure of the bullket, the closest thing I can find is the speer hot-core. but they may use a different bullet durring different manufacturing times.
Heres federal's number 1-800-322-2342. I would give them a call and ask. they might tell you.
