Does the case mouth need to be flared before bullet seating? Is this a separate die? Last question....Promise. Smoker

You can seat jacketed bullets without flaring the mouth. For lead bullets you need to. That takes another die.

Hey Smoker:
If you're using the 3-die set, use the second die to true up the case and bell the case mouth!
Just don't bell it too much or it won't fit up into the seater die!
