AR/15 load Bushmaster 1/9 twist 20"
has any one ever used this combo for an AR. 55Gr.fmj wsr primer and 25.5Gr. of Varget. My Sierra book calls for a Rem.7.5 primer for its 55Gr. loads. i wasnt sure if this is a safe or funtionable combination

I've loaded 24.5 grains of Varget with a number of different 55 grain bullets and primers and it works very well.

Hodgdon lists the maximum load for 55 grain bullets as 25 grains of Varget and that is a compressed load.

Another possibility is BLC-2 25.5 grains works very well out of mine . All 55 grain bullets .

1 Fowler lower left 5 Winchester factory upper left 10 center hand loads a dime covers

those holes with change to spare . Point of Aim as near the same as humanly possible .

Big differences with what components one uses .
