Do you use primer sealant?
For hunting ammo in wet weather? Facoty ammo seems to be sealed.

Anyone every tested that handloads to see if getting damp or rained on caused a problem.

Metalman, I used some on some .270 Winchester, the kind that it is in a bottle like fingernail polish with the built in applicator. I tested them side by side with some of the exact same loading without the primer sealant. I let them both (10 of each) sit in a tupper ware container of water for 2 weeks.

To the range the morning after I took them out ot the water--no drying time to speak of, and all 20 went boom. Did take the sealed ones on my hunt to Kansas that year though........

the oldest ammo i have in my loading is 30-06 which i loaded in 1969--used regular nail polish (29 cents a bottle) and is still hits the target as it did in 1969--haven't had a 06 since 1995, used my buddy's
