275 grain 41 Magnum
I really need some help here. I have a lot of loads for the .41 in 250 gr and lighter but I'm wanting to try the 275 grain hard cast bullet at about 950 fps. Can you Quickload guys help me?

Try 10 gr of aa9 gives about 1000 fps out of my 6" dan wesson , with the 275 gr ssk bullet. Also try 19grs of 296 for around 1175-1200 out of my 5.5" redhawk. These are safe in my guns but be careful, hope this helps.

I, too have Walt Melander's 411 275 mould, and out of my alloy it weighs ~294 grains. I have used 18.0 grains of H110 for a chronographed load of 1220 fps. The bullet is not terribly accurate, it is kind of like pushing a pencil. The bullet is too long. But it is acceptable as far as accuracy goes, and although the cases didn't fall out of my Model 57, they were easily pushed out with the ejector rod.

Thanks for the starts. I shot these bullets a long while back from a different gun and found the 250s to be more accurate. Now I have a different Ruger and was hoping for better luck but couldn't find my old notes. These are from Cast Performance Bullt Co. Thanks again.
