I have about 30 bullets that i loaded for my 30.06 that i want to pull. This is virgin Rem brass and i use a kinetic type hammer puller. Before loading these bullets i checked the oal which was ok then ran the expander ball in the neck to get out any dents and then deburred. It's been a while since i pulled any bullets and i honestly can't remember if i did anything to the brass before loading it again after i did. Man i must be getting old or something, been having way to many brain farts lately.
After i pull these bullets do i need to do anything to the brass or can i just load up more bullets? Looks like the bullets would be a little loose. Thanks! Mike

it's not at all bad to remove the primer punch pin in the sizing die and resize the brass again.

Ofcourse you have to dump and recharge the powder!

I will agree with vapodog, and add that normal practice is to FL size new factory brass, then check for proper case length and finally chamfer the case neck.

Any time you pull a bullet there is a strong possibility that you will have less neck tension on the next loading if you don't resize.

Sure all above are correct, but, heck, why would the reseated bullets be loose.

They were forced in, the brass is flexable, expecially in the neck area, and should have sprung back somewhat after pulling the bullets.

If they were too tight to push in by hand they'd do me for "general use". And if Lee crimping, or any crimping for that matter, I fail to see what the big difference will be with different neck tention compared with the big bang when you touch off.

I have this vision with the perfectionist reloader of some one working up a 0.5" load of shiny brass and deburred flash holes, letting loose, standing, at a jumped deer and missing by a couple of feet.
