Homebrew.416 Rigby Dies
I plan to start reloading for the .416 Rigby. What dies would you recommend. Thanks.

bull1Personally, I think it's hard to beat anything from RCBS when it comes to reloading.

ShinzoProbably the cheapest new are Lyman, if they are the same as the
Lyman Dies I use in other calibres they will be perfectly satisfactory.

lawndartRedding, and factory crimp die from Lee.
Polish the inside of the die no matter what brand you get. Work down to 400-600 grit sand cloth, and then Simichrome or such on a large sized chamber mop. You'll be glad you did.

Although I'm a great fan of Lee FCD dies, the 416 Rugby case is large enough to require them to use the 1 1/4" x 12 threaded dies as used in their classic cast press with the 7/8" x14 thread bushing removed. They cost about $70 IIRC.
