varmint101I use my Hornady book the most. I don't have the Sierra one yet so I can't comment on it. Regards,
Matt
You have to make a choice:
If you prefer a certain family of bullets, then get their manual.
If you need something more "across-the-board," I'd suggest either the Hodgdon or Lyman books.

If you can go to a gun store or a gun show and look at allot of manuals,
get the one that resonates with your interest.
I have ~50 manuals.
For rifles loads I like the Sierra load book.
For pistols loads I like the powder manufacturer's free annual pamphlets.
For rifle accuracy loading procedure I like the Sinclair book.
For cast loads I like the Lyman book.
My personal load notes then become the fine tuning of loads that started
out as recipes from load books.

HcliffI can't live with just one. Hornady is a very helpful manual for a beginner. That and the Nosler are the one I use the most. But I have 6 other i currently use. Can't have too many.
