500gr Hornady 458's?
Does anyone know where 500gr Hornady .458 JSP's are available? Every vendor I know of is out of stock and has been for a few months now. They're reasonably priced and I've heard alot of good reports on this bullet.

Or would any of you have a box or two you'd like to sell for whatever reason?

Thanks!

PS: What experiences have you folks had with this bullet? I've heard it's excellent for most any thin-skinned game. Would like to hear any pros or cons you all might have? Loads for the .458 Win? I'd like to push it at about 1900-2000 fps (for large bears in North America/Moose/Elk in timber).

I bought a Ruger #3 45/70 a few years ago that came with some brass, bullets, etc. I fired a few "full house" 405g JFP's and the recoil in that 6 lb. gun is way too much for me. I just checked and there is an old box of the Hornady 500g jacketed RN's with 20 bullets left in it. You are welcome to them if you want to try a few for free. Tie your hat on tight before pulling the trigger.

I have 6 boxes in stock.
They are $26.45 per each box.
My two main wholsalers are out of stock on them, so I would recommend you stock up now.
