popcornAfter doing a little homework : useing a 100gr. bullet, 47 gr. of H4831 should be a good starting load. She may want to start a tad lower and work up and past the 47 gr. beer
Are you able to get H4831 in Italy? fishingroger

Hello Faina
There is a lot of reloading sources: RWS, Deva, Vihtavuori, but not the current ones, maybe the 2003-2004 editions.
I have developed at least two reloads for my Blaser R93, here is what a use:
1.- Horneber brass 2.419, COAL 3.078, Barnes TSX 85 grs., 55.5 grs of Rl 22, CCI BR primer, average vel: 3,400 fps average. Very accurate in my rifle.
2.- Horneber brass 2.419, COAL 3.105, Sierra Hunter 100 grs. BT, 54 grs. Rl 22, CCI BR primer, av. vel: 3230 fps. Very accurate

I understand that in Italy you can obtain components in Jawag (www.jawag.it/page_1.html)
If you have any questions regarding RWS or Deva Ladungen, just send me a PM.

Hello Wildboar, yes, I'm back after long time!!!
I'm not shoure wich bullet my friend want to use, but I think 95-100g will be a good choise for italian game like Chamois.
Hodgon's 4831 is even a good choise for hi-power calibers... We can find this also here in Italy.
Thank you for your help!!!

These data are for the H4831:

Nosler Part. 95 gr, cartr. lenght 82 mm: min. 50.5 gr./max 54 gr.

Hornady Interbond 85 gr.- Cartr. lenght 79 mm: min. 51 gr/max 54.5 gr

Hornady SST 95 gr. cartr. lenght 82: min 50 gr./max 53.5 gr.

Hornady SP 100 gr. cartr. lenght 82: min 50 gr./max 53 g.

For a 60 cm. barrel, V/0 should range between 910 and 970 m/s (for max. suggested loads). Of course the above data are a guess. Let me know if you need something else.
