GSP7R-22 and VV n165
My adi and VV burn rate charts show R22 and n165 the same burn rate catagory.
Anyone tested R22 and n165 side by side?
Which is faster or slower? Looks like n165 might be slower looking at some load data
I am load testing 155 lapuas in 6.5x55

JennerweinI have tested the Lapua MEGA 155 grs w/ both RL 22 and VV 165 and found accuracy a tad better with the latter. However, my observation was that the barrel did not heat up so much with RL 22. Eventually, you have to try out which powder your rifle likes better. The Mega is a deadly accurate bullet, though. Only darn expensive if you have a great turnover. For hunting purposes, I would go with VV 165 as you rarely shoot longer strings at this occasion. My load was 42.3 grs w/ CCI BR2s, COL 2.874". Just for orientation. Hope that helps.

shootawayGSP7,I will shirley try to help you.I tried Vit 560 and R22 side by side in both 300WM and 7mmRM cartridges. In the 300WM it was with various bullets and the result was that 560 grouped a little better. In 7mmRM,it was with ballistic tips and the R22 grouped much, much better.

GSP7The VV load data shows for 6.5x55
155 mega/ 49 gr n165 max
Wow , that seems way high (49gr n165)
Ive tested several 155 gr lapau mega loads settled on these as a good safe pressure
45gr H4831
45gr R22 -- R22 I went up to 45.5 ok, and 46 gr was getting alittle stiff
Both with norma and lapua brass , WW primers
Im trying some CCI primers now
