I don't even in my AR15's. I have had no problem with not crimping.

I have shot thousands of .223 rounds per year for over 20 years and have not crimped a single round. Most have been for bolt rifles, but some went through ARs.

I use to crimp my AR rounds. When I stopped I got better accuracy out of my reloads with no draw back from not doing it.

I run a little crimp in my autos. I think they feed better. Pistols or rifles it doesnt effect accuracy for me. Some benchrest shooters shoot a little crimp. I ve got a browning auto that shoots .5 thats crimped. Not choked a little crimp.

But the vast majority don't.

You will just have to test your particular load to find out if a crimp helps or not. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

You can fool with neck tension too.

Some BR shooters thought that a little crimp made the VV-133 burn a little more consitent.

I don't crimp mine.
Both shoy under 1/2" last weekend.

I just feel it over stresses the case mouth and reduces the reloads a case can handle

My mistake, It was a tighter neck bushing in the sizing die. Forgive me. I dont know how you could crimp on a inline seater anyway.

I don't crimp mine. I've heard that some ball powders burn more consistant with a slight crimp.

I only crimp handgun rounds. And I use a taper crimp rather than a roll.
