reloader lenDon't pass up NIKON
this past weekend i came in from hunting ,
placed my Rem 700 BDL 300win with a Nikon
4.5x14x40AO on my porch while i removed
my rubber boots.My son walked by and you
know it!knocked my gun off the porch.
After a good cussing under my breath,i looked
the gun over. No scratches ,not a flaw.
Took it out, shot it nine times ,three three
shot groups .Dead on less than 1/2 inch.
Not a big deal you say !I think so it fell 36
inches to concrete!

aladinHey Gary: you own the scope I'm looking at. Some info please. Do the adjustments 'click' for each point of movement? Are those adjustments screws- or whatever, metal or plastic? Thanks, A.

My scope is the target model, so I have target knobs/turrets on it. The clicks are very pronounced, not "mushy" at all. They are metal. I imagine that the low profile adjustments are the same. I love my Leupolds, but got a good deal on this one so I snagged it. I certainly haven't regretted that decision. Super clear optics, just a great scope. If you are thinking about one, and found one at a fair price, go ahead & get it. You won't be sorry.

ricciardelliMy cameras are Nikon (film and digital), my lenses are all Nikon, bi binoculars are Nikon, but my spotting 'scope and all my rifle 'scopes are Leupold...
Does that tell you something?

Major CaliberNikon makes a good scope, but the most important thing is have high quality mounts, not those cheap aluminum see thru mounts.
