158 gr. RN cast pistol bullet in .35 Whelen.............

I would like to load a .38 cal. 158 gr. RN cast pistol bullet in my .35 Whelen, can anyone suggest a powder and charge? Thanks.

Red dot 4 or 5 grs to start all depends on what you want to do with it.

You should get some where around 800fps and should be fairly quite.

You might try about 21gr. of trail boss or 26 gr. of blue dot.
