Still primarily constructed with unobtanium, at least as of last month. I see a ton of new pistol brass and primed pistol brass but not much fired or pulled surplus.

Pretty much My take on it also tiggertate ; Seems after that order Obama Via Eric Holder sent out on destruction of Military surplus brass ( then was supposedly repealed ? ) I'm now beginning to wonder if it

REALLY WAS REPEALED ?. I detest sounding like everything is a conspiracy when commenting on the

government !. I will admit one thing , I Didn't have to when GWB was running things !!!.

I've asked brass scrappers surplus wholesalers and they inform me It's UNOBTAINABLE !.

It kind of makes one wonder JUST WHAT REALLY IS GOING ON !!!. Eeker

I think one impact is the military aid to Afghanistan. Now, instsad of selling or ditching out-of-date lots of US ammo, it goes to the Afghan military. This is done through private contractors and they scour the world for inventory. Our local empties may be sold to reloaders and used for similar purposes. Who knows?

That and mosy of the empties are generated overseas now and there's no economy in bringing it back.
