TEANCUMBenchmark in .223 high velocity loadings???
I was browsing through some reloading recipes on the Internet and took note of some of the numbers using Benchmark. That is a powder that I haven't used yet but the "paper" on it looks good.
It seemed to be producing some very high velocity loads at some of the lowest pressure levels which normally is tough to pull off. If those manuals are a reflection of real world experience; it's caught my attention for sure as I've been using RL-7 with some 40 grain Nosler BT's.
From the name they gave it of Benchmark I would assume there are some great reports about it's accuracy but if those numbers of velocity and pressure are the real deal along with great velocity I am interested in your EXPERIENCE with Benchmark.
What say ye?????

Ol` JoeI`ve got very good accuracy from 25.3gr under a 52 gr Nosler HP for a little better then 3200 fps, but I`ve never pushed the velocities with this powder.

Sounds interesting and like that comment is coming from your experience with the powder.
It would be interesting to hear about some of your recipes if you care to share or perhaps a PM??
