<338Lapua>Question on 240 WBY for Ricciardelli
Mr. Ricciardelli,
I looked up the 240 on your web site and noticed you used Federal 215 primers for the development. My question is, I was going to use federal 210s due to case capacity, did you feel it was nesc. to use the 215s due to the bore size vs cartridge capacity?
Thanks for the info. BTW, thanks for the most comprehensive reloading website available, I reference it ALOT!!!
Jim

ricciardelliFirst of all, thank you for the good words about my site.
As for the Federal 215 primers...way back when I first started reloading there were a couple of basic rules that a true reloader NEVER violated.
The first was, "Be sure of your components";
The second was, "Always start out low and work up gradually";
And the third was, "Always use Federal Magnum primers in all Weatherby cases".
Of all the rules of reloading (of which there must be at least 1,639 by now), these are the only three I continue to observe...after over 40 years of reloading...
