<Wyatt Sanders>Case Trimmers
What is the best case trimmer,i.e.least expensive,
easiest to use and set up for different calibers,
& comes complete with collets,pilots,shell holders,etc.?

TomPI use a Unimat lathe with some homemade shellholders, have used a South Bend lathe at times.

R-WESTI've always used the Forster unit, although you have to buy the individual pilots for each caliber separately. It's solid, works well, and replacement parts are readily available.

rollinghillsI too like the Lee Case Trimmers. There is nothing to set up, they give more consistent "trim to lengths" than my RCBS collet trimmer, and they are inexpensive. The only disadvantage is that the "trim to length" for every trimmer is not adjsutable.

I just bought a Forester and will sell you my Lyman if you are interested. Has an adjustable chuck to hold any size case and comes with a collection of pilots.

GreyghostI would suggest the Willson Products. Especially their micrometer trimmer. They don't have holders for every calibre, but what they have work great. Much better than most.

wildcat junkieAnother vote for the Lee trimmer.
It is esspecialy handy with the "Zip" trim. One can trim and champher the mouth in a matter of a few (very few) seconds.
