I just got some of these dies included with a rifle I bought.
I've never used them and they need a bushing for the neck. How do you determine which size bushing to use. The chamber is a standard dimension not a custom neck size.

I started using these for .223 Remington and .308 Winchester autoloaders. I was previously body sizing, then neck sizing with a Wilson inline die in two separate (time consuming) steps. I like this setup much better and I am producing concentric cases with good control of the neck using this setup. If you choose to use an expander, I recommend upgrading to the carbide type available for these dies.

I wouldn't bother with .001" under bushings at all. Neck tension tends to be very low, and it gets worse after the cases have been loaded a few times. .002 or .003" works better.

The best part of the S-die sets is the Comp seater. I can routinely make straighter ammo with a FL die than a Nk bushing die.
