I am loading up some different loads for my new .270 and need a good place to test them out. I am looking for a place on public land in the vicinity of the Denver area. Does anybody know of a good place to shoot?

So were are you located in D-Town? I've lifed here for over 20 years and most if not all of the public ranges have disappeared. ost you have to belong to a club.

I shoot Competitive BR and we shoot up in Weld County but it takes 1.5 hr from Denver to get there. It is a private club but opens to the non members when a match is taking place.

Beyers is another range but must be a member.
