.375 260g Ballistic Tips
Shot some of the new Nosler .375 260g Ballistic Tips this weekend. Pushed them just under 2700fps with 72g of Reloader 15 in my new Model 70 Safari Express. 3 shot groups were consistenly under 1 inch. No copper fowling to speak of...

Now--What in the heck can I use them for?

Mike,

I ordered a box and I'm in the same boat. I want to try them to see what I can get for accuracy, but my traditional 300 gr loads have NEVER failed me. Decisions, decisions!

Offhand, I can't thing of anything in the Western Hemisphere that wouldn't cease and desist with a 260 Nosler BT applied through the thorax.

I was wishing they would make their .375 Ballistic Tip offering in the classic 235 grain weight, which would be good for plains game like deer and the various smaller African species.

I'm going to evaluate them first on Deer. Depending upon those results,I'll move up the ladder..............

I seriously doubt if there is such a thing as 260 grs of failure on a deer, whatever it does it will work on deer...elk?? to new to know.

I'd much rather evaluate performance,by going up progressively. If you wish to try it on Buff, for the maiden voyage,I'm all ears.

Ballistic Tips as a whole, make me rather nervous..............
