Funnel static

Garth BakerFunnel static
I picked up a new RCBS funnel today and tried to dump powder thru it. Seems like 1/3 of the powder sticks to the side.
I tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and it didn't help. Then washed it with hot water and soap. That didn't help. Then tried dumping lots of powder thru it and that didn't help at all. I also took 4 0000 steel wool and roughed it up didn't help.
Im at a lose, something so simple and so frustrating.

sepI wipe my powder hopper and/or funnel with Bounce dryer sheets. The ones you throw in the dryer to reduce static cling on clothes. Seems to work okay.

JVI put some powdered graphite on a cleaning patch and wipe the inside of my powder funnels with it. One application usually lasts for several years.
If you don‘t have any graphite at hand, you could try a pencil instead.

MarkDryer sheets work like magic, also consider keeping a humidifier in the room. If your wife uses fabric softener and not dryer sheets put a couple drops in some water, soak it up with a washcloth, and wipe everything down with that.

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark
