Stuck Case

model7LSS, please, you must entertain us by telling us the story. You are not the first, nor will you be the last. Is it stuck in a die or chamber? Try to find a "broken case extractor". They are caliber specific. Good Luck....

No head whatsoever, or just no case rim? If no head, the only thing I can think of is using lots of penetrating oil and a brass rod through the top.
A properly sized broken bolt remover called Easy Out (might)work too if applied to the broken end but much greater chance of damaging the die.
If it's just the rim, then thee is a contraption made by RCBS just for that.

you have to collapse the side of the case. carefully get a start with a sharp scratch awl. You might scratch the die a little, but it won't hurt. then with a small hard brass chisel work it into the hole and either slit the case or better collapse it into the center. then it'll come out with a rod and a tap

Be sure the die is clean (no preservstive oil)
and use imperial Die wax,
Good luck!

A little " Kroil " on the Die or down around the chamber ( You didn't specify if it was a Die or Weapon ) . Let it set for an hour . Now if it's a die you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to warm the Die an use an extractor ( Easy Out ) to remove it. If it's in a chamber use a broken shell extractor . Warming the Die will slightly expand the metal DON'T OVER HEAT IT . It will swell the case if you do . Idea is making the temp different between the two metals .

I like to use a " Little Kroil " rather than slop it inside the broken case !. It's easier for the easy out or shell extractor to work without " greasing " up the inside of the case .

We've ALL been in Your Shoes if not worn out they are most certainly WELL WORN !.

Ruptured Case Extractor

If you?ve ever had a cartridge rupture while you?re shooting, you will appreciate this economical solution to the problem. Even if it hasn?t happened to you yet, you can?t afford to be without this handy little tool when it does. Simply chamber the extractor like a normal cartridge, and work the action. Out comes the ruptured case.
