330 Dakota dies
Anyone know of a source for 330 Dakota dies other than from Dakota? Paying $120 for standard RCBS dies seems hard to swallow. CH4D? Huntingtons? Others? Also, is the shell holder specific to the Dakota line or is the case head the same as the Jeffery? Thanks all!

snowcat - You are in luck (maybe). I have an extra expander die for .330 Dakota which has never been used. A friend wanted a .330 Dakota and I purchased Redding dies for him as a favor (dumb me). He changed his mind and I was stuck with them. Another buddy needed the seater but not the FL expander. I will be happy to sell you the expander.

Sinclair charged me $61.00 + shipping and I will sell it to you for $55.00 + shipping. If you want it, send me a PM. Sinclair can special order Redding dies for the Dakota cases. (I would strongly suggest Redding vs RCBS) Also - the shell holder is in fact the 404J. Sinclair also carries these. If you need any loading data, I will be happy to forward as well.

snow, I got my 7mm Dakota dies from Redding. I don't remember exactly what I paid but it was a little cheaper than getting them from Dakota. BTW, .330 Dakota is a great caliber. I'm trying to justify having a M70 rebarreled / rechambered.

Midsouth Shooters Supply has the RCBS die sets in stock for $106.89. Midway USA only offers them by special order. The correct shellholder to use is the one for the 404 Jeffrey.
