Finally found a couple of loads that would group in my 7x57AI. Using 50.5 grs H-414 and 46.5 grs IMR 4064 with a Barnes TSX 140 gr gave me groups of .405 and .285 at 50 yds (all I have). Question, can someone give me some approximate velocities with these loads? And another question, I will be hunting mule deer in Wyoming in a couple of weeks, would I lose much velocity with the IMR 4064, and if so could I expect similar results with XMR 4064?

44 grains of 4064 with a 140 (not TSX) in mine goes 2800 in a standard 7x57. 52 grains of H414 in the std 7x57 with a 140 TSX goes 2950. Yours could be considerably faster as my rifle is very long throated, years ago I had a FW M70 that went 2900 fps with a 140 Sierra and 51.5 gr IMR4350, the same ammo in my Ruger and a Mark X goes 2750, so there is some variation in data. If yours has min. dimensions and short throat, there could be a bunch of difference.
