Hornady lists their 225g#3706sp W / WLR primer, H332 powder from 47.4g@2400fps to 61.3g@2800fps beer

You might interpolate data from the 375 H&H using SR4759.

Check the data from a Speer manual with their 235 grain bullet.

Use 60% of the top listed H4895 load. Perfectly safe, and very gentle. If you go to the Hodgdon website, it will give you details on their 60% loads.

I was thinking along the lines of pistol powder. someone said 11 gr of unique would be a nice light plinking load.

I've tried 10gr Unique with a 250gr cast bullet and wasn't impressed. Accuracy was poor and it didn't hit anywhere near POA.

I use a couple of grains less than the minimum load of Benchmark with the Hornady 225gr bullet and recoil is 30-06ish. Not powder puff but reduced a bit and accuracy is about the same as 270-300gr full tilt loads.
