OzzieLil Gun
Was browsing burn rates and found a chart (gsgroup.co.za) that shows Lil Gun at the same burn rate as ADI BM1. BM1 (Benchmark 1) is NOT the same powder sold in the US as Benchmark, thats ADI BM2.
The chart attributes it's data in part to members of this forum.
Anyone know if in fact ADI BM1 is Lil Gun.
No point asking ADI, they are not returning emails.
Googling doesn't help and I find there are discrepancies in position of Lil Gun on burn rate charts.
Anyone know for sure one way or another.
Alternatively if anyone has a can of Lil Gun does it say if it is manufactured in Australia? Is it extruded or ball?
Thanks all.
I use a lot of Lil Gun in 22 hornets. It is not extruded.

amamnnI currently have two jugs and both say USA too. This could mean it was packaged in the USA--you might ask Hodgon..........

OzzieThanks everyone. That confirms that they are not the same.
ADI powders are extruded and every Hodgdon equivalent I have seen is clearly marked "Made in Australia".

GadgeNope, Lil Gun is a double-base 'spherical' powder, made by St Marks Powder in Florida, USA.
See
