125gr-130gr 30-06 load??
I have a ruger 77mkII rifle in 30-06. I know it has the standard 1:10 barrel,....which may make this difficult, but I want to twist a 125-130 out of it nicely. Anyone have a good load or suggestion?

The best 125 grain aught-six load I've tried to date has been Ramshot's "Big Game," in 62.0 grains. That's Ramshot's "performance load," and it sure does perform. Sub MOA in two different rifles I've tested it in. ~3200 fps.

I shot out a tube on an 06 shooting 125 TNT's using R15 was able to run em at 3200 with a 21" tube. They shot great, have used H414 as well, but didn't get quite the same speed.

You shouldn't have any trouble getting the 125's to shoot.

Hard to beat the 125 or 130 grain bullet on deer, they are one deadly combination. My 06 shoots them very well with the 1 in 10" twist rate. My son now has that rifle and will not give it back. Try REL-15 powder, it is one versatile powder and very stable in all weather conditions. H-414 with the 150 grain bullet also performs fantastic in that 06 rifle.

I had the same rifle you do and absolutely loved it.It shot 60grs of imr 4831 with the 125gr nosler ballistic tip.It would nock a deer flat, like it got hit by a mack truck!Shoulder shots dont offen pass threw.
