Twist rate for 350 375 bullet?
Does anyone know what twist rate is needed to stabilize the long 350's? Thanks "D"

My new Woodleigh catalog lists the 350 gr rnsp as 1.35" and the protected point version as 1.408" in length.
After looking at the GS Custom website, it would appear that these lengths will be ok for you at 14" twist.
You need to take a cleaning rod with a tight patch, run it into your barrel at least 18". Then put a peice of tape on the cleaning rod at the muzzle. Put a mark on the tape, then pull the rod out until the mark has made one complete revolution. Measure the distance from the tape to the muzzle and you have your twist rate.

The twist recommendations on the page in the post above do not hold true for monometal bullets. They are good for jacketed lead bullets only.
