4350 in 9.3x64?
I have 8 lbs of 4350 for use in the .416 and .460 and was wondering if anyone has tried it in the 9.3x64. Any data for this caliber and powder? Got bullets, 270 gr Speers, brass and am waiting on dies. Thanks, Cobalt

Although its not my favorite powder it works well with the 286 gr. Nosler and 75 gr. (IMR-4350)for 2650 FPS and thats very mild in my gun.....77 is max in my gun...

About 78-IMR4350 will give the 270 Speer bullet 2800 FPS or so and blow it to pieces also...not a good bullet in the 9.3x64...

the 250 Nosler Bal. Tips seem to be a good deer bullet from reports I've gotten......I'LL just stay with the Nosler partitions..

65 grs. IMR4350 will give you 2300 witha 320 gr. Woodliegh and great accuracy...Better yet is 65 Grs of H4895 for 2490 FPS and great accuracy....

IMR4320, H414, and H4895 are my favorite powders for the 9.3x64 but as you can see IMR-4350 will get you by and with good accuracy...

Ray,

I am behind on load development for my 9.3x64. IMR 4320 has worked well for initial trials as discussed. Have you tried and/or had success with RL15 and the Nosler partition?

Also, do you think H4350 would work well in this case with the partition? I have some of that around the house too.

Thanks,

redleg

Ray,
Have you tried the Swift A-frames? How 'bout the Barnes? I'm just getting started with this caliber and really appreciate your expertise. Cobalt
