kennedyReloading military brass, how many times?
I got 308 and 30-06 military brass that I have not loaded yet. Approximately how many reloads can I get before going bad? I removed the military crimp already and full length sized and trimmed.

Jerry LilesIf shooting out of a bolt gun with minimal sizing it will last for many loads, often ten or more. If you are shooting out of a gasgun autoloader like an M1 or M14 give it four total loads and then get new brass.

Depends on how good a handloader you are and if you anneal necks from time to time. You will be glad to hear that trimming and crimp removal has no harmful effects on case life. commercial or militery.
Military brass is made to the same or better quality standards as commercial equivalents.

I have brass that has been loaded many times over the 5-6 times you have people recommend. Annealing will extend it even further.
