eezridr7MM 160 accubonds
Have been searching for some Nosler 7MM 160 accubonds. Cannot find any locally and not on Midway. Any suggestions off the top of your head?

Good luck. They are even out of stock at Nosler. Seriously, I hope you find some.

Jim@IMRepsHave been looking for 7MM Accubonds as well, called Nosler and was told they are doing a production run on Accubonds in June and retailers should have them on their shelves by July, their words, not mine. If the demand is there for Accubonds, Nosler should increase their production runs and not limit the supply otherwise as a consumer I'll find and use another more readily available bullet, period.
And when they make that run, keep an eye on Shooter's Pro Shop for the cosmetic blems at 1/3 the price. That's where I usually buy them. They must be doing Partitions now. 180 30 cal partitions are something like $14 per 50.

Jim@IMRepsLarry went to Shooter's Pro Shop and their pricing is indeed good. In your experience have you had any accuracy issues with the blems, please elaborate. Thanks

I've used Nosler Blems for years. Never saw any difference between them and the ones in the nice box.

I happen to use 160 accubond blems in my 280PDK from Colorado to Namibia. Never an issue
As usual just my $.02

BaxterBHere are some .277 140gr Accubond blems. I have no idea what's "wrong" with them. I have three boxes identical to these.

NakihunterNot sure if my comment is relevant to these blemished bullets.
Many years ago I read an article about bullets from boxes that had been dropped, resulting tiny dents on the bullets. These bullets never provided good accuracy - more like 2 inches or bigger. The same lot of good bullets gave sub MOA.
I then looked at a bunch of my Rem Corelokt bullets which refused to group like the previous lot. Sure enough they all had tiny dents. They came from a bulk pack of 10,000 repacked here in NZ.

BaxterBI have shot plenty of TTSXs that look worse than these and they shoot .75 MOA easy. i ain't complaining.
I'd forgo the Accubonds and go ELD-X

wasbeemanInterestingly enough, I read a study (quite a while back) where the author/shooter distorted the bullets. Even to the point of using a pair of pliers to abuse the bullets. His findings was that if the damage was forward of the ogive, it had little or no affect on the accuracy. Damage to the body and heel could cause trouble.
Looking at a dinged up Core Lokt bullet compared to a Speer or Nosler, it is impossible for a CL to be accurate. But that has been my findings. Some rifles shoot them like match bullets.

JGRaiderI've killed almost 30 head of African plains game, and 50 cull aoudad sheep here in the US with 7mm 160 AB's @ 3000fps. It is an outstanding hunting bullet, very reliable performer, and very accurate.
