Sierra match king 135 hpbt
Does anyone have a current sierra book handy? I need the COL for the 308 win 135 gr HPBT match, p/n 2123.
Thank you in advance.

Sorry, my manual doesn't show that bullet or an overall length listed under the 308.

Speer, Sierra, Lyman, Hornady, Hodgdon have reliable reloading data. You won't find it on so and so's web page.

I checked out the sierra websight but nothing on COL.

The COL for accuracy would be determined by you in that you would determine how much bullet jump to the rifling you desired. Since this is a relatively short bullet, it is likely more a question of how little of the bullet you will seat into the neck for grip and stability.

I couldn't find any load data on that bullet. Contact the Sierra bulletsmiths at 1-800-233-8799 and ask them about it.

SPECIAL NOTE ON CARTRIDGE OVERALL LENGTH “COLâ€
It is important to note that the SAAMI “COL†values are for the firearms and ammunition manufacturers industry and must
be seen as a guideline only.
The individual reloader is free to adjust this dimension to suit their particular firearm-component-weapon combination.
This parameter is determined by various dimensions such as 1) magazine length (space), 2) freebore-lead dimensions of
the barrel, 3) ogive or profile of the projectile and 4) position of cannelure or crimp groove.

Below is the only powder I have tried with the sie 135's and ran them at 2.80"Haven't shot the 135 farther than 100yds yet but they did very well out of my tikka 308.
The 130 hornady shoots very good also with the same loads. It done well at 300 yds also.
