<sed1945>I personally don't use them. I have never found any difference in accuracy, so why add the extra cost and the added clean up chores?

<Multi Vis>The main gain of shooting moly coated bullets is the easy cleaning of the barrel once you have a good layer of moly in the barrel. The jacket fouling is cut to nil to none so all you need to clean is the powder residue. Its said that shooting moly will cut barrel wear also but my main reason for its use is the cleaning of the barrel. If your looking for it to make your rifle more accurate forget it - it wont do that, its just a friction cutter. I tumble coat my bullets in a plastic juice jar inside the tumbler drum,I tumble for about an hour and then remove the excess by running them back and forth in a old towel. However you apply the moly do it the same each time as if methods are changed then you can get thicker or thinner layers of moly on the bullet. Have heard that the spray on moly dosent work as well as the impact plated method. Be sure to get a good technical grade of moly for your bullets as there are some not to pure stuff being sold out there. Midway is a good source. Luck to ya:::Multi Vis
