I use Retumbo and seat them 0.050 off the lands.

Not by choice, but I have tried the 100 grain TSX in my 25-06 with good results. (California no lead laws.)

I am using a Fed 210 primer with a max load of IMR 4831 and am getting great groups and velocities in excess of 3300 fps with the 100 grain TSX in my 25-06.

I have to admit I have not shot anything with them as of yet. My buddy shot a bear with his 25-06 using factory ammo loaded with the 100 grain TSX and they worked just fine.

Just tried 55g of R22 (a max load according to current Barnes data), velocity only 3102 out of a 23" Tikka 21" barrel.

Be careful of loading the TSX too hot. 3000+ fps will do terrible damage to a deer if shot in the shoulder or brisket. Use them for a lung shot or a neck shot and they will be fine. Keep velocities around middle of the road for the caliber and it will perform better when bone is hit. I use 25-06 consistently for white-tailed deer and have never lost a single one nor destroyed too much meat, but I also use Nosler Partitions for hunting.
