Good luck with Ballistic Silvertips
Anybody else having outstanding luck with the Nosler BST bullet?

My dad has shot only one hole groups at 100 yards with his 300wsm and 69.5gr RL19 using the 180gr bullet. We worked up the load from 66gr and STILL they all shot into one hole! It was at 56,400 psi on the Oehler 43 at 20 degrees F and 3026 average in his 28" Pacnor 11 twist tube. We will go to about 62 or 63K psi and check psi as it warms up this spring and maybe reduce it if it gets too warm. The 168 SMK bullets were about 3/4moa but these were less than .3moa EASILY! Im trying them in my 300 Ultra today.

Send some of that heat down here! It's too cold to shoot at the range for us Easterners.

Right now it's 9F here and the wind is NE at 12.

Suppose to be 30 this weekend... Eat you heart out guys. [Big Grin] [Big Grin] Ya all thought Alaska was cold. [Big Grin]

Watch it be -30 the week after. Guess I better zip it! [Big Grin]

Forgot to mention it was 40 just a couple days ago too! [Big Grin]
