case prep questions
New guy here, totally new to metalic reloading and looking for advise to get me started in the right direction. I'm gonna start with .45 ACP. First dumb question: does it matter if the insides of the cases are totally clean? Ive got a batch of once fired cases that I tumbled in plain dry cobb for about an hour and a half. The outsides are clean and shiny as can be but the insides of the cases still have burnt powder residue. Is this a problem or is it acceptable?

Thanks

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Once fired, they will have that residue on the inside. No worries, if you tumbled em enough to get em shiny on the outside, you can size and go forward.

Good luck!
