Anyone using Accurate Arms 3100 in .25-06 with good effect
Dear all
I've recently acquired an Accumark in .25-06 and have a couple of lbs of AA 3100 left from a previous project. According to the data I can use 3100 for 75 grn all the way upto 120 grn bullets.
Is anyone out there using it to good effect in their .25-06?
Thanks in advance
I tried it way back but it was Ho-hum. I use RL 22 from 100 and up and H4350 for the light stuff.

Perhaps apples to oranges but in my 25-06 IMP., a 117gr. Sierra SP driven with 55 grains of 3100 was excellent.

54 grains of 3100 behind a 120 grain Nos. was good but not great.

In other large capacity carridges it served well.

hivelosityused both 3100 and 2700 with good results,
100 gr bt's at about 3350f/s I load these pretty hot, only get a couple loads out of the brass, my rifle shoots best at max pressures, 63k.
imr 4350 100gr bt's loaded to the same velocity shoots well under 1" moa.
120gr sierra imr 4831 loaded to 2950f/s best hunting load 1 ragged hole used 8 1/2-120 win primers.
h414 100gr bt's loaded to 3100f/s shot under 1"moa
I shoot these loads in a win model 70 and a 1200 parker hale. both shoot about the same.

Thanks for the info fellas.
I will give the 3100 a go when I get to the range in a couple of weeks and see what happens.
I have pretty much always used RL22 for this cartridge previously and have a good few pounds of that too so I will take that as backup.
Thanks again.
