Looks military to me. Lighter bullets were used by Mexico and some SA countries in their 7x57s. Mexico used a 155 FMJ at one point in time, maybe that's what it be.

I thought it was an older ( 40-45 years ) Sierra Bullet . I'm not sure as they were in a bulk container

marked 7mm and it was hand marked . I've weighed hundreds of them over the years and they're all 153

plus or minus 0.01 a grain . I've never seen Military anything ( Exception Match Bullets )

that consistent . So I was hoping a couple of our experienced statesmen might have a clue ?.

You know I can't remember if Speer ever made an open cavity BT like that or not .

I've got factory boxes of Sierra and Speer from the VERY EARLY days Santa Fe Springs

Lewiston Idaho . No BT bullets from any of those particular boxes I have though !.
