Rem cases
56 grains IMR4831
Fed 210 primers
Don't know the velocity, but have killed groundhogs at 600yds with them.
Check out the test target when I was working up this load (the first one I tried and stayed with).

A dozen years ago I had a couple of .25-06's and even a .257 Wby for a short time. On MT muleys and a few whitetails as well as antelope, I found the 100's to be a bit too explosive, though never tried a partition in that weight. I ended up using 115 partitions for everything (big game wise) and never looked back.
My other load was a 75 grain Hornady HP over H4831 as a coyote/rockchuck load. Once took a fat chuck off of a rock with the rising sun behind him at a solid 500 yds....first shot. Probably one of THE LUCKIEST shots I have ever made. Had an audience for it too! Those 75's are absolutely explosive at most any range, accurate as well.
I have always liked the .25-05 as well as the Roberts for deer and antelope. Just about all a guy needs, does the job very well with minimal recoil or fuss.
