reliable velocity to open up a nosler
gents:

can anyone point me toward to some date showing low spectrum velocities at which 300 grain 375 nosler partitions can be relied upon to expand?

thanks.

the front of a partition is really quite soft. I've found them open reliably at 400 yds on deer, shooting 165's in an 06. I can't even guess the numbers of animals i've shot with the 300 gr 375, never had a failure.

Partitions are very soft in the from half, and open at quite low velocities. Nosler claims they are good from 1800 fps up, with no listed peak.
