Shikaribabu9.3 x 62 Load with Prvi Brass and Prvi 285 gr SP bullet
Guys:
About to get my hands on a CZ 550FS 9.3 x 62. Am looking at purchasing both Prvi brass and Prvi 285 gr SP bullets from Graf and Sons. Any suggestions as to recommended powder and primer with this brass and bullet combination would be appreciated.

Rick RI normally use Varget in my 9.3x62 rifles with a CCI 200 primer. Reloading for the 9.3 isn't much different from the .30-06/.308 class cartridges.
FWIW, I did get some pressure signs using Graf brass and the Prvi bullets earlier than with Hornady or Nosler bullets.

NakihunterLapu brass is very good & usually costs less than Norma brass. I have read good things about the Privi bullets. Check the Nitroexpress forum for bullet test of 9.3 cal.
58 grains of Varget or RE-15 under the 285 will bring you happiness. It seems to be one of those 'works in all rifles' loads.
If you want to go premium use a 286 Woodleigh RNSP.
Any standard L/R primer will do. Hornady load 9.3x62 ammo so there should be Hornady brass over there now. Privi brass is fine, then Lapua, Norma and RWS.

ShikaribabuThanks a lot for all the input. I have RE-15 in ample quantity so will give that a shot. Can't wait to get my hands on the CZ 550 FS.....

Jeff SullivanMy plinking/hog load with 285 PRVI bullets is 55 grs Varget, CCI 250 primer, in Lapua brass. It will literally knock a hog on its butt and shoots super accurate out of my Blaser R-93 barrel.

SnellstromRamshot Big Game is the powder for my 9.3x62.
I shoot 285 grain PRVI's, 286 grain Norma Alaskans and 270 Hot Core's from mine in Graf's brass at 2325 fps with 62.5 grains of the above powder.
My rifle is very light, 20" barrel and it turns out .6" 3 shot 100 yard groups.
