Started "helping" my dad in 1980, I was 8. By myself in 1983, 410s with a Lee Loader for my Savage 24. I have been loading ever since.

RIP
1982, I got a late-in-life start, using a Lee Loader, 44 Rem.Mag. for my S&W M29. A Hornady 007 press was next.

Sincerely,

I've only been reloading since 1981 and I don't want to be the longest time reloader on these boards. That would make me even older than I am and that's too old by half already.

Wow!
There are alot of old farts around here.

I guess ill take the lead as the newest reloader. I started in 2011 with my .375 H&H and my .223 coyote gun.

I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same.

1980 or '81 I think. In those days, reloading was frowned upon in RSA as something people did when they couldn't afford factory ammo. I guess that pretty much summed me up!

30-odd years later, I understand that reloading is for folk who aren't satisfied with what they can buy over the counter

I ain't even in the ballpark.........1970.
173 gr Lyman cast WW in a M788 Remington .308Win.
I can't remember what powder we were using, nor the gr amount, but it shot really well(1.125"to 1.5")at 100 yds.
