Until yesterday morning, I owned a Smith-Corona 03A3 w/ a 06/42 Rem. 2 groove target barrel. My shooting buddy told me about a gunshop down the road that I wasn't familiar with. I took my 03 to him and walked out with a Rem. 700 ADL chambered in '06 and topped with a BSA 3.5 X 10 X 50 Cat's Eye scope. He wanted $475 for it and we agreed on an "even steven" trade. I'm happy.

If it was a full milltary in good shape the gun shop got the better deal.

They pretty much always do but if both sides are happy then all made a good deal.
