Brass Cleaner
I'm always experimenting with different case cleaners and stumbled on one that really works well.

I use "Hornady One Shot Case Lube" and then clean my cases before priming. Tonight I used some "Easy-Off Bam" all-purpose cleaner and degreaser. It's a foaming spray that comes in a purple bottle with a green spray-nozzle top. It'll be on the aisle with the kitchen and bath cleaning products. It's not "Easy-Off Oven Cleaner".

The "Easy-Off Bam" really took the lube off - as well as the black powder residue. I put my cases in a large plastic bowl and sprayed them with the Bam and then rinsed with hot water. Bam is my new favorite case cleaner.

Have you tried vinergar and hot water?

I've been using Cascade dishwasher detergent and follow that with vinegar and hot water to add a little shine. With the Bam, I get enough shine to skip the vinegar.

ForrestB: I don't have any "Easy-Off Bam". Just make sure it does not have ammonia as a part of the solution. Ammonia will cause "season cracking" in brass.
