DoublessLooking for load data for a 44 Mag and Lyman's 429348.
Guys, I found a pristine Lyman 180-grain full wadcutter mould last weekend at a show, and am looking for a nice plinking round for it out of my 4" Model 29. I have AA #2, Winchester 231, AA #5, Herco, Unique, etc. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

308SakoActually the idea with this bullet is to push it just fast enough to cut a clean hole in paper at short range (25 yards and under) and I believe that using something like Win 231 or a fast pistol powder to a velocity of around 750 ft/sec's will accomplish that nicely. Worked for me and was very accurate in my 8 3/8" M29. PS, I used a very very light crimp for best accuracy.
