Varget vs. RL-15
Looking to load some 458 WM rounds but have run out of Varget. Is RL-15 an acceptable substitute?

Absolutely.

The two are quite similar in burning rates and recommended charge weights in several different calibers that I've loaded for.
I remember Seyfreid highly reccommending RL-15 for the heavies and even had a formula somewhere for charge weights converted from the old cordite loads.
RL-15 should work great in your 458 WM....................DJ
