Any problems using regular primers instead of magnum primers? Using Unique powder.

Don't know about Unique, but they work fine with Bullseye, Titegroup and Lil'gun.

In pistol calibers, the powder dictates the need for hotter primers. Unique doesn't need them.

Thanks for your help!

I would say you would only need a magnum primer with the very slow powders, especially the ball powders, like Win 296 and H110. Would also use them with 2400 and 4227. The others, no.

I've had good luck using standard spp's with .357's and 2400...I load up I think it's 13.5 gr. (might be 13.0, been a while) under a 180 gr. XTP with EXCELLENT results.
