slap a bullet in it and make a key chain.

I never even thought of doing something useful with it, like making jewelery or keychains. I just mash the mouths with pliers to make damn sure someone can't use it, and chuck it in the trash.

It just seems to stack up like pennies in a jar. Maybe my grandchildren will get rich off of it in some future metal shortage.

Melt it down to make brass hammerheads.
Well, actually, I've never done it, but someday I'll be able to cast a few 40# sledges.

I save one or two to duplicate bullet seating depth settings. I'll use the brass to load a dummy of my pet load. When I need it I adjust seating dies to touch the dummy, then my pet load always stays the same with the same seating depth.

I take two cases,(both full length sized) drill holes in the heads large enough to stick the neck of the other case in it and solder them together with a propane torch. now I have a cleaning guide.

I also cut about .040 off two case necks, (chuck them in the drill press neck out and use a stanley knife works great) then take one of the rings you cut off and jamb in on the base of a bullet. Split the neck on one of the cases and insert the bullet backwards with the ring on it facing out. Leave it long OAL chamber it and carefully take it out and measure the max case length for that rifle.
